~JR: Yup. It was middle of the night, on November 11th.

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Chegg customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~JR: Poor! I signed up for the "homework help" option under the impression that it was around $*.** monthly and was charged for the annual fee of $**.**, which overdrew my account as I was not anticipating this charge amount. After searching to find a customer service phone number, which is not available on the website, I contacted customer service speaking with a representative that refunded the charge and educated that the overdraft fee incurred as a result could be refunded. After following up multiple times to no avail, the fee was not refunded as promised. Instead I received a policy reponse. This is disturbing since not only was I promised this refund, but I was advised that many other customers had the exact same issue the exact same way. I will report this to the Attorney General's office.

~JR: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~JR: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Chegg's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~JR: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Chegg customers?
~JR: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Chegg to know who you are.
