~Lauren : Delta recently launched a codeshare program with a canadian airline West Jet and clearly on the website this new launch stated that Delta sky miles members can now earn miles flying on the codeshare partner. **My husband and I flew On west jet and for the past month and half have been trying to request mileage credit from Delta but to no avail. Delta keeps requesting for documentation that reflects class of service paid. The boarding pass on West jet does not reflect class of service paid. Hence now, I a victim of this discrepancy and have gone through a lot just to get my mileage credited. Please note that if you fly WESTJET as a delta skymiles MEMBER, ticket stock is different and hence the DELTA computer cannot read the ticket and it has to be processed manually which NO agent wants to take on because its a fairly cumbersome process. Hence they will keep passing the buck for as long as they can and hope that you will withdraw your request or forget about it.
