GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's H&R Block customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~ANONYMOUS JACK: Although presented as a convenient way to receive a tax refund, the EMERALD card IS A SCAM!!! CONSUMER ALERT: BE CAREFUL WITH THIS, AS I'M CONSIDERING A REPORT BEING MADE OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE U.S. FEDERAL PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION, AND ANOTHER REPORT MADE TO THE U.S. FEDERAL INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, AND THE CALIFORNIA FRANCHISE TAX BOARD. At time of my federal and state tax preparation, I WAS NOT INFORMED that my financial institution WOULD NOT HONOR a card with a large (Thousands plus $$$'s)balance on it, DUE TO THE FACT THAT ONLY MASTER CARD IS THE PAYOR*TRANSFEREE. IF H & R BLOCK OFFERED "VISA," AS WELL, the Emerald card, MIGHT BE A MARGINAL OR AT LEAST SOMEWHAT MARGINAL ONLY, PRODUCT. I will NEVER resort to such a federal and state refund method EVER AGAIN, despite the fine, APPEARINGLY, quaulity tax preparation services rendered by my individual preparer. Focus less on selling extra, APPEARINGLY CONVENIENT, products and get back to the original business model of H & R Bl

~ANONYMOUS JACK: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.

~ANONYMOUS JACK: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about H&R Block's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~ANONYMOUS JACK: For that I would say five out of five.
