~fin: New Balance *** men's runners STINK* they used a polyurethane compound in the sole that smells like cat urine when they get wet - these shoes may perform very well if kept dry- but what are the chances of that?. Nothing can be done to get rid of the odour and the shoes are not usable other than for yard work and must be kept outside. I called NB Canada customer support and they say the problem has been fixed but because the shoes are more than * months old there is no warranty* my local store has offered a store credit which still leaves me out $*** - lots of documentation on the internet ( see Amazon.com:customer reviews) I believe New Balance should provide a full refund AND a product recall
