~sally: I came into the bank today Tuesday, January **th and I was cashing a check that was a PNC check, and I do not have an account with PNC. I have an account with First Merit. The showed my driver license and the teller still wanted to see a credit card. I pulled out my First Merit debit card and she said no it has to be a credit card. That makes absolutely zero since. I showed my Michigan*state issued drivers license and now I have to show another major ID. Why? My ID should be enough. She was being*the rules are very silly. Very silly that is why for years you could not ask to see a credit card because of silly procedures like this.
