GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TaxAct customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Kristiluv08: Customer service great HOWEVER, there was a problem this year with a $**.** charge and never has been. After talking with customer service, when I chose to upload*download info from last year, the charged $**.**. I saw NOWHERE where it stated that - no *HALT, be known" statement that I saw anywhere. I feel this to be underhanded. My Mom uses Turbo tax with free fed. filing, she always transfers prior year info and never a charge. This should be a part of service. If NOT, put it on there SOMEWHERE it can be seen BEFORE it happens. I'd gladly spent ** minutes or less to put in that info! Never again will that happen!! Never again Tax Act for being like this

~Kristiluv08: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TaxAct's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Kristiluv08: For that I would say four out of five.

~Kristiluv08: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TaxAct to know who you are.
