~Marilyn: This is my fifth encounter with checks written from a fraudulent account due to identity theft. Each time Ihave followed all of the instructions even though the phone number referred me to a second phone number which required that I fill out a form and then call for the address. Telecheck had no record of my existence. I also had to repeat my name, license, three times and spell them. (I have been a radio journalist* my speech is perfectly clear.)*I ended up hanging up disgusted.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Telecheck. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Telecheck problem?
~Marilyn: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Marilyn: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Telecheck's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Marilyn: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Telecheck customers?
~Marilyn: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Telecheck to know who you are.
