GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TomTom customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-232962: DO NOT buy a TomTom VIA ****. It is sold as being able to download maps for other countries. We verified that we could download European maps before we purchased it. When we tried to download the maps, it said they were not available. Customer service said the platform to download maps was NOT ready. No indication as to when the platform would be ready. The next supervisor said they were in a software outage. Again, no indication when the service the device was sold to perform would ever be available. No effort to resolve the situation. We are now stuck with a TomTom GPS that cannot download the maps we need and bought it for.

GetHuman-232962: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-232962: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TomTom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-232962: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TomTom customers?
GetHuman-232962: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TomTom to know who you are.
