GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TomTom customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~pissed off: I will never buy another TomTom product or recommend one to anyone else. The product is terrible, the customer support is in India so the people are hard to understand, and they do not want to take back a unit no matter how flaky it acts. To make matters worse, we used it for the first time on a vacation to another state. TomTom decided to update its maps and we lost our GPS signal FOR THE WHOLE TRIP. We had to wait to get home and upload the new maps to restore our GPS signal. What the ****? I can't be the only person totally pissed off by this company, its product,and its lousy customer service.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TomTom. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TomTom problem?
~pissed off: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~pissed off: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TomTom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~pissed off: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TomTom customers?
~pissed off: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TomTom to know who you are.
