GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Toshiba customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~ajeannebear: I bought a new toshiba laptop about *and a half years back. had it for less than a year and the modem quit working on it. everything else worked fine. so brought it back to Best Buy because I paid ***. for the replacement warranty. they said since it was less than a year I would have to send it to Toshiba to be repaired. called them and then sent it in. then they had it a long time. so when ever called them they said it was almost ready. but never heard back . so after many calls they then told me wasn't anything wrong with it. next call and they said wanted $*** to fix it. said it had been wet at sometime or another. I know it had not been. so I finally got it back , unrepairable. everything still worked except the modem for WIFI. so when I got it back, I let my brother have it and he was able to fix it. won't buy from Best buy or Toshiba now.

~ajeannebear: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Toshiba's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~ajeannebear: For that I would say one out of five.

~ajeannebear: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Toshiba to know who you are.
