GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Whirlpool customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~DianaA: Poor Customer Service. Refrigerator Ice maker broke * months before the warranty had ended. Contacted local service company to determine extent of problem. The service company tried to obtain the part that broke as part of the service call but found out it needed the whole door replace. Call Whirlpool to try and obtain door. Whirlpool indicated the warranty was now ** days over the warranty date and I had not used an approved service rep. therefore I could no longer get $*** door on warranty.**Whirlpool was not very accomodating in trying to work with customer. They would not take a receipt from the local refrigerator repair company as proof that a service call had been performed prior to the * year warranty was over to determine the problem.**We purchased the whirlpool because we thought it was a good brand, but if the refrigerator parts can't even out last the warranty and the company does not work with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction, I would caution you from buying

~DianaA: For that I would say two out of five.
