GetHuman-348916's review of American Express customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's American Express customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-348916: American Express is the most unamerican bank I have ever dealt with. I had a problem with my card and there was a misunderstanding (didn't know it at the time) between the pholipino agent and myself. He took it upon himself to cancel my card to send me a new one even though I told him that I was disputing a transition from months ago that I just saw and that I had already received a new card that I was comfortable using. Today I wake up to withdraw money only to find that my card has been cancelled. I called customer service and got a Pilipino agent and they couldn't seem to understand my English. I told them to make it right. I was then transferred to India and no one seemed to know what they were talking about. I'm writing a letter to the CEO. American Express is anything but American!! There are tons of Americans who can't find work and the U.S. Is hiring other people in other countries to handle American Banking?? Wtf? There is something wrong with that. Next time you call, ask
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting American Express. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a American Express problem?

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?

GetHuman: And what about American Express's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-348916: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other American Express customers?
GetHuman-348916: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for American Express to know who you are.
