~otto4460: I purchased a reclining leather sofa and * matching recliners in Dec ****. They were out of stock on it until late January. The store could not deliver until first of Feb ****. The color is coming off of the furniture between the cushions. I contacted the store Jan *** **** about the problem they said they would contact Ashley to find out what could be done. They then * weeks later tell me that it is out of warranty and nothing can be done.I said we did not get del until feb ****. They said no it is from date of purchase. I said you were out of stock * weeks after purchase. How can you start a warranty on furniture that does not exsist yet. How is it fair to eat up * months of my warranty while you produce it ?*He simply said that the way it is. Sounds to me as though Ashley Furniture makes such a high quality product they will pull any trick to get the warranty clock to be as short as possible.
