GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Backcountry customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-erinmco: I have an issue with the time my order is taking to ship
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/23/17?
GetHuman-erinmco: I ordered items with free two day shipping. Because of New Years delays, the items will be here in six days, instead. Backcountry.com sent out an email about the delays, urging people to call them if they needed their package sooner. I called them, and apparently there is nothing to be done except wait. The problem is, I'm visiting a close friend on Saturday and had planned on giving him the socks I ordered so he could use them when we skied together. I'm reasonably upset about the delays because I feel I won't get the chance to give my friend the socks at a later date.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Backcountry. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Backcountry problem?
GetHuman-erinmco: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-erinmco: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Backcountry's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-erinmco: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Backcountry customers?
GetHuman-erinmco: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Backcountry to know who you are.
