GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Bank of New York Mellon customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Helen: When finally answered my call went to a call center in Manilla, I asked to speek to and american representatcie and was told it woudl take ** to ** hours because they could not transfer my call. I do not believe this to be the case since it woudl be the matter of them dialing a number to transfer my call. *I felt as though they were being uncooperative because of my request to speak to some one in the United States. *I my self find it offensive that we as Americans have to press one to speak to someone that speaks english and then get transferred to a foreign country.*I am American and want to speak to Americans in my country.*When my call gets directed to a foreign country, You can not understand half of what the person says that answers and have to repeatedly ask them to repeat themselves.*This only leads to frustration and no resolving of the problem called about in the first place.*To me this is extremely poor customer service from the Mellon Bank Corp.

~Helen: For that I would say one out of five.
