GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's CenterPoint Energy customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Abused Customer: Same as a few others have said. Paid for a same day set up. **$ extra. Left work early and didn't leave the house all night which caused me to lose a full day that I could have been moving and working. Next day i call in and they say the tech recorded leaving at *:**pm and nobody was home. Fiance and myself were at the house from *:**PM untill *AM this morning. Had chinese food delivered at *:**PM. Don't have ANYTHING in the house yet such as tv's or radios that can cause us to not hear anything. I explained to the rep and her supervisor all of the above conditions and was told that no refunds will be given and that they wont be able to come out to turn everything on untill the next friday. A full week after the account is set up. When she asked if she could help with anything else I informed her that a little less monopoly in the industry would go a long way for customer service. They are the only provider and they know it for sure.

~Abused Customer: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about CenterPoint Energy's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Abused Customer: For that I would say four out of five.
