~freeflier1: The Filipino guy who answered didn't know what I was talking about. He was overly, mechanically polite. Ridiculously polite. He gave me the number for the "Litigation" dept. This number was not the number I needed. I was trying to get the "Loss and MITIGATION dept.". That is the one for modifications on the loan. After several misunderstandings, the guy finally understood what I was going for and then gave me THIS number again, the ***-***-****, as he felt all satisfied in finally giving me the right one-------NOT. *When I first called, in the list of options, I picked "refinancing" since that was the closest option, I thought. That option proceeded to give me another number to call which was not the right dept either.**So I re-dialed the first number and picked the paying off the loan option, number *. That time, I got a live person, another Filipino guy, who was still in the wrong dept. He gave me the right number finally. *-***-***-**** and then I find out they're closed on weekends
