~DaveL44: The electroninc robot answered and said, "I see you are calling from a number on you account. Please verify the street address and last four digits of the primary account holder's social security number." So after doing that I was transferred to a human robot who asked all the same questions. I explained that my problem was that I had a service appointment between ** and ** and it's now almost * and no one showed up. The human replied that the service appointment had never been scheduled and the call we received yesterday confirming the appointment didn't mean anything. (It was the other robot's fault.) After a few minutes of checking on things he made me an appointment for the tomorrow afternoon. So, I guess that's a problem solved.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Comcast. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Comcast problem?
~DaveL44: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~DaveL44: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Comcast's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~DaveL44: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Comcast customers?
~DaveL44: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Comcast to know who you are.
