~Disgruntled Global Londoner: Complaint:*I am a journalist, and several weeks ago, asked the live chat people for a marketing and comms manager so I can request a press trip. The group says it has a green policy: I wanted to find out if this is true, here in China. It's wonderful when corporate chains take on green issues, however small, it sends out an important message. *For two weeks I couldn't find anyone in live chat who had the correct information.*Eventually via the corporate site I found the form. I was travelling in four days. As a back up I had reserved myself two nights at the Chengdu Panda Palace Hotel.*The problem began when I noticed that the amounts charged varied wildly on booking.com and the hotel direct. I cancelled the booking on the former and made one with the latter.*I requested a pick up from the airport.*Two weeks before travel- from China- I tried ringing the hotel. And sent three emails. The phone numbers didn't work (from inside China, when I told the livechat person in USA he sai
