~feeling used: Baited and switched. Tried to add one HD receiver. Told there would be no increase to my bill,no contract. The *rd party confirmation wanted me to agree to numerous increases & * yr contract. Express customer support (***)***-**** was slightly more pleasant, but told me the first person was wrong - I said it is your company, your training and unacceptable to bait and switch. He didn't budge-* yr contract & monthly fee for hd. Said he would give me $** off per month-we'll see if that shows up. Going to Dish Network or may just disconnect and go internet. Oh and when I told Dish Network I had a Roku, they hung up. Guess Roku has something going & no monthly fee. just learning how Roku works.

~feeling used: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~feeling used: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~feeling used: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~feeling used: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
