~THE CARP: Sure. It was evening, on November 16th.
GetHuman: Did you reach out to DirecTV, and if so, how?
GetHuman: And which of these common DirecTV customer issues best describes the reason you wanted to talk to them?

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's DirecTV customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~THE CARP: Static on any channel, not the show but any commercial starting out with anything to due with "POLLUTION CONTROL". In particular, two (*) commercials: *). Young girl on a beach drawing a stick funny face women in the sand and *). Young girl walking along a stream in a forest. When either one of these commercials come on the TV goes into "STATIC MODE", and lasts the full length of all commercial shown at this particular time. Easiest way to get around it is either put the TV it "MUTE MODE" or change the channel for up to two (*) minutes and then return to your original channel. Direct TV has been informed of this and is trying to solve this problem. Just a note: "I've been with "DIRECT TV" for over two (*) years here in the state of Indiana and I had "DIRECT TV" in Plainwell, Michigan for over thirty (**) years. I've never had a serious problem with them for all these years.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting DirecTV. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a DirecTV problem?
~THE CARP: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~THE CARP: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DirecTV's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~THE CARP: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DirecTV customers?
~THE CARP: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DirecTV to know who you are.
