GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Expedia customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Sherja01: After LOSING my reservation, and charging my account the full price, I was put on hold once, only to be unwittingly transferred to someone else. Obviously the first gentleman just didn't have the will to help me. The next gal told me that they couldn't find my reservation, but they would be willing to make the reservations for me, but with the caveat that they would have to charge me again! When I said that paying twice the amount for the same reservation was unacceptable, the woman then said she would get her supervisor, I waited for another ** minutes and she said that "Mike" was then ready to help me. Which is when I literally heard her say , "just hang up", I think she forgot to hit the mute button. I have been booking with expedia for over ten years, I never will again.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~Sherja01: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Sherja01: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Sherja01: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~Sherja01: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
