~Military members being ripped : EXPEDIA LIES TO CUSTONERS!! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM, YOU WILL LOSE MONEY, CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY AND THEY WILL GIVE THE SAME OR BETTER DEAL. Even though they claim that they do not charge cancellation fee, they are charging me $**** for greater than one month in advance cancellation. Two agents lied to me (two days in a row) stating that the hotel will not authorize cancellation but when I called the hotels directly, they stated that they had already given authorization. Expedia charged my credit card and is refusing to refund my money even thought the hotel has cancelled the reservations. I am a military member and used them because of transfer of duty station but they are even ripping off the military members who are deploying to Afghanistan to keep the country safe. The worse agency to ever have done business with. I can't believe they train their employees to LIE to customers!
