GetHuman-243089: First Midwest Bank is the greediest bank in the nation. They charge $** for NSF charges which is the highest in the nation. In addition, no matter what the circumstances, they do not waive these fees. They explain it away by stating that because it was not a bank error they cannot waive the fees. They are unscrupulous and deceiving also. I was told by a branch manager that they could waive some of the fees -- then when I spoke to a manager they said they would not waive any of the fees -- even though it was not our fault. This manager did not even ask me the name of the bank employee who told me this. I would not recommend First Midwest Bank to my worst enemies.
