~gregorymatatall: the first time i call to get help installing a new printer i just received he did not ask my phone number so when he accidently dropped my call he did not call back - so when i called back the second time and started all over - i asked the tech to take my phone number and he said that it did not matter because if the call was dropped they are not allowed to call back - i have been doing phone support for ** (thirty five years) and i still do phone support and that is really a bad company policy. in the last ** days i have purchased at least ** hp products amounting to almost **,***.** and i always tell people to buy hp over dell and i still will continue to do so - but i want to say - that is a very bad policy. thank you for at least asking my opinion - many companies ask for the ph* first as i do.

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~gregorymatatall: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HP's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~gregorymatatall: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HP customers?
~gregorymatatall: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HP to know who you are.
