~lesliemac: i spoke with a customer representative today, with a question. i just purchased a **** tri-glide, my *rd new one in * years from h-d. i simply asked for the offset*backspacing on the rear wheels as i want to install a set of wire-spoke wheels on this bike. after speaking with two representatives, i was told that this was "propietary " information, and they werent allowed to give it out! i need this info to have wheels manufactured for this bike as clearance is very little in the rear fenders. i feel this is no threat or copywrite infringement, i only want to improve my bikes appearance.
