~Shaheen: Yes I can. It was morning, on November 14th.

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's HughesNet customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Shaheen: Initially, it was great* they'll do everything to get you as a customer. Prompt, friendly, you're talking to actual Hughes net employees, etc. But when I called with a technical issue, I spoke to * different people that I assume aren't even in the country that are probably taking calls for ** other companies, and therefore don't actually have any specific information to give you. The *rd person I spoke with, Meil, I talked to for literally ** minutes- during that time, in which she was not only unhelpful but rude, I asked to speak to a manager AT LEAST ** times, and was constantly put off. She told me she could neither give me an estimate nor the direct information for the installer until I placed an order* when i asked her to change a time, she said it was impossible even though she'd just told me that I could cancel the order at any time. When I asked to cancel it, she said that was also impossible. When I finally insisted, the call was cut off (like it had been the first * times, as
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting HughesNet. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a HughesNet problem?
~Shaheen: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Shaheen: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HughesNet's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Shaheen: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HughesNet customers?
~Shaheen: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HughesNet to know who you are.
