GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's HughesNet customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~tom: Over * years I've made numerous calls. All were answered by people(India, Phillipines) whose command of English was poor. Several were arrogant. Poor language skills are exaserbated by a poor telecommunication network. Calling ***-***-**** is useless and they WILL NOT give you a USA number to call. I'm cancelling my service. I found ***-***-**** thru google. I got thru to a Barbara, and she was excellent* professional, helpful and well spoken. When is someone at the Hughesnet corporate level going to wise up and stop squandering their customer base by off-shore out-sourcing...penny wise and dollar foolish.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting HughesNet. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a HughesNet problem?
~tom: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~tom: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HughesNet's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~tom: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HughesNet customers?
~tom: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HughesNet to know who you are.
