GetHuman-erturksh: A complaint about delivery and assembly in Ankara
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/29/17?
GetHuman-erturksh: Dear Sir*Madam,*We made a major furniture shopping from Ankara store around **** TL (over **** USD) for a flat of my friend who works for the EU. We paid extra for delivery and assembly. They did not give any document as a receipt or invoice except a payment docket, purchased goods list and a credit card payment slip. They had a campaign to present a free shopping card valued *** TL (around ** USD) each for every **** TL (*** USD) spent. *-) After a strong persistance I managed to get the receipt today **.**.**** since last Saturday *.*.****. This is a major financial crime according to Turkish laws. You have to present the invoice during the purchase after taking the money. Despite we made an extra payment for every item, they insisted to make the delivery on Monday morning. I tried to explain the flat is empty, as being the caretaker of the flat, I have to be present during the delivery and I had to make a long, time consuming and tiring trip to welcome the delivery staff. Afternoon delivery would be much appreciated. Anyway, I had to be there at the time which was dictated by the IKEA Ankara Delivery Department.*They did not count the delivery and assembly payments towards the total bill and gift card campaign. Also they offered me to give a total of *** TL shopping card.**Today I was given a call by Mustafa of IKEA of Ankara, again with a non-understanding, rude and arguative behaviour over the phone for assembly of the furniture. Kindly I requested the staff should be coming in the Monday afternoon. without any empathy with your 'paying' customer, he insisted for the morning. As I said nobody lives there and I am the only person to look after the flat. roughly ** minute duration phone conversations minimum ** minute spent for the sole discussion to convince me for morning delivery. *The staff doesn't care if there would be a complaint submitted to the IKEA HQ. They verbally confirmed that too. I could put a complaint about their non-customer service.*They insisted for Monday morning for the assembly of the furniture on Monday, ** of May,****.*I am sorry, but there should be a solution to train the rude staff and learn how to understand the customer. *While making a decision please you are not delivering or doing the assembly as a favor. You are charging the customer for doing this.**I am an accredited journalist holding a permanent press card which is issued for the media members after over ** years of service. I will never give up against your Ankara Stores' rude behaviour.**Thanks for understanding and sorting out this problem**Faithfully yours,**Sherif Erturk
