~atripp: This is the first and last time I will use Ikea's delivery service. The sub-contractor should be fired! I was told that delivery and assembly would be between *-* pm and I would receive a confirmation call the evening before or morning of delivery. When I didn't, I called Ikea and waited over ** minutes to learn my order was on the truck and on track. WRONG! about * pm the delivery man called to say they were in a suburb north of Seattle and had * more stops and couldn't get to my place until after * pm! When I told him no way, he told me I had to call Ikea to reschedule and he didn't have time to do it because they had to call me back anyway. When I called the recording said there would be a ** minute wait. After I waited for about ** minutes I hung up and called m*Mr. (non) delivery to call Ikea and have them call me whether he liked or not. He begrudgingly said he would. Good luck to him.

~atripp: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Ikea's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~atripp: For that I would say two out of five.

~atripp: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ikea to know who you are.
