GetHuman-gwood48: Cabinets junk and customer service nonexistent
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/26/17?
GetHuman-gwood48: We bought kitchen cabinets from IKEA. After three years the coating on the cabinet doors and drawer fronts began peeling off. We initially contacted the local store. They gave us the runaround, so we attempted to contact their headquarters. We have spent hours on hold trying to reach a human being that number. Nowhere on their website do they have an email address, so this company makes it practically impossible to get in touch with anyone. To summarize, the cabinets were junk, customer service is nonexistent, and I will never enter their doors again. If it were an option, I would rate them zero.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Ikea. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Ikea problem?
GetHuman-gwood48: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-gwood48: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Ikea's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-gwood48: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Ikea customers?
GetHuman-gwood48: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ikea to know who you are.
