GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Kindle customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~woodgolfdog: I purchased a Kindle ** months ago for my wife and had very little problem with it until a few days ago when it wouldn't pick up a wifi connection from our computer. I tried resetting the device, but it didn't help. I finally called Amazon and talked with a representative for about ** minutes, going through several rounds of resetting the device and going back to the factory settings. The device still wouldn't recognize our wifi connection. At that point the representative told me that I would have to purchase a new Kindle. I don't think that ** months is an acceptable amount of time for a $*** device to last. I am very disappointed with Amazon.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Kindle. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Kindle problem?
~woodgolfdog: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~woodgolfdog: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Kindle's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~woodgolfdog: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Kindle customers?
~woodgolfdog: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Kindle to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~woodgolfdog taken from his Kindle customer service problem that occurred on November 8th, 2017.
