GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Lenovo customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~M_in_NJ: This is the * for Lenovo Thinkpad technical support. Got routed to native English speaking tech support person in Atlanta, Georgia. After selecting the right department via voicemail prompts I was able to talk to a tech support person right away. Called about a crashed laptop (Edge), tried a few things but it didn't work, they are mailing a recovery DVD. I thought the tech was very competent. Wish they were be able to provide a DVD image file so I could download the recovery DVD immediately instead of having to wait *-* business days.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Lenovo. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Lenovo problem?
~M_in_NJ: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~M_in_NJ: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Lenovo's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~M_in_NJ: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Lenovo customers?
~M_in_NJ: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Lenovo to know who you are.
