GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Linksys customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Wendy: I simply wanted to add password security to my wi-fi, but the default "admin" password was not working for the router website. So, I called Linksys and was informed that my router was past its customer service warranty time-frame and I'd be charged for any help. I found this incredible as I've never encountered a company that charged for help with a password issue. I decided that I'd rather buy a brand new router from another company if necessary, rather than give one more dime to this company. Luckily for me, ** minutes on Google helped me solve my problem - which ended up being a simple press of the reset button on the back of the router. The thought that I might have paid $** for that information is incredible and infuriating. I'll never purchase anything from this company again.
