~MacysShame: I spoke to a rep to get help with a late fee which had been charged due to a mistake Macy's had made. The rep could speak very basic english, and could not understand that Macy's had made a mistake and I wanted it corrected. I gave up and asked for my card to be cancelled, I paid the late fee and an extra service charge to be rid of Macy's. The next month I get another bill because the total amount I paid was $* short. I went ahead and paid the second fee to be rid of Macy's forever. I used to buy my wife's Christmas, anniversary, and mothers days gifts from Macy's. I have not and will never shop with Macy's again. Thje upper management of Macy's should be ashamed of themselves. They have very good customer service in the store, and to get a problem corrected which they caused, was extremely frustrating.

~MacysShame: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~MacysShame: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Macy's's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~MacysShame: For that I would say one out of five.

~MacysShame: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Macy's to know who you are.
