GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/30/17?
GetHuman-meggill: On Jan *, **** I booked a hotel reservation through Priceline for the Vagabond Inn at **** Virginia Ave in Reno, NV. I booked this reservation the day of my travel. My father is critically ill, and the hospital staff asked his family to come as soon as possible. We booked it for two nights, but only stayed one night. My brother and I planned to share the room. When my brother arrived in the room at *:** am on Jan *, ****, he saw that the room was unclean. In fact, as a defense attorney, he was concerned that some of the stains he found on the bathroom counter, faucet, and bedroom wall looked like blood splatter. Given his line of work, this is a professional opinion, not hyperbole. He took photos as evidence. Although we'd booked a non-smoking room, the room reeked of cigarettes. He was forced to spend the night because of the late hour on a holiday weekend. He slept in his coat rather than trust the bed sheets.**When I saw the room the next day (having not slept in over ** hours), I agreed that the room was too unclean to stay in. We checked out, explained our reasons, and asked for a full refund. We called the hotel manager and explained the situation and asked for a full refund. We called Priceline, explained, and asked for a full refund. They promised to call on Jan *, **** but as of * pm, I have not received a call back.

GetHuman-meggill: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Priceline's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-meggill: For that I would say one out of five.

GetHuman-meggill: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Priceline to know who you are.
