~Hillman94611: I have tried three months in a row to use the Sears credit card online *ayment system. It always proved impossible so I had to go to a customer service rep and make my phone payument that way. The interest rate charged on Sears credit cards is usurious, and there should be a law against rates that high. One time I got a customer service rep whose attitude was that he just didn't care. I have had the service charge waived twice by customer service reps when paying through them, but this was because their system wasn't working and they knew it. This morning, when I tried to pay my account in full over the phone, the rep couldn*t even tell me what the final balance would be -- some intertest she could not calculate would be left over and listed on my next statement. let me tell you, that statement will be my last because I will never again do business with a Sears credit card. I'll walk into the store -- if I ever go in again -- and write a check, right then and there.
