~Tobie Collins: First, I found this review page. I wanted to see what kind of view I could give. I needed an address & phone number for my mom. Well, thankful I was patient enough and spoke with Josh who was very friendly located in **-****(coincidence how much I waited) in Seattle Washington. He told me, just use your local office which made sense. I found out there is an increase in benefits, but a decrease in social security going in due to the retires no longer paying in. Not only that it is also due to unemployment mostly due to young folks who cant'find a job & the recession. When employees left the Social Security Office due to retiring, quitting, etc., they did not replace anyone. So basically I feel they are working a "Skeleton Crew" right now . therefore, I was told they were going to start hiring soon. Josh was helpful, courteous and being kind as I was curiously asking questions writing down my review with him in overcast Seattle, while I'm baking in So-Cali. I thought wow it was worth the

~Tobie Collins: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Tobie Collins: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Social Security's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Tobie Collins: For that I would say five out of five.

~Tobie Collins: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Social Security to know who you are.
