GetHuman-vickije: INCOMPETENT!
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/20/17?
GetHuman-vickije: Awful experience when I bought a new Samsung S* phone from their website & wanted to transfer my existing Straight Talk phone number to the new phone. It has been ** days still no phone service. I have spoken almost every day to them & haven't received accurate nor consistent information from them yet. If one calls my phone number the recording states "owner has not set up their voicemail box yet" instead of stating the phone is not in service. I am critically ill & awaiting several health providers calls which are very important to my recovery. I cannot believe the incompetence & why it is taking *** month or longer to reactivate service. Furthermore, they deactivated my former phone and cannot reactivate that phone. They should NOT deactivate a phone when they haven't determined whether the new phone is*will be operable within hours. I have lost my patience. I'd swith to another provider but as it stands now I don't have active service so I can't transfer my phone number which I want to keep as it is the only number **** contacts have for me. This is really a TERRIBLE experience!

GetHuman: And what about Straight Talk's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-vickije: For that I would say one out of five.

GetHuman-vickije: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Straight Talk to know who you are.
