~Anonymous: If you go thru the live person tax assistant. They gave me a link and told me what buttons to push. I had to wait about ** min but I did get to a person:*To speak to an IRS agent, please first select your language. Once you have selected your language please press prompt * in the first menu, * in the second menu and * in the third menu. Please wait to be prompted before pressing the prompts so it does not put you in the wrong menu. Also, please keep in mind that these prompts may change without notice.**When you make the call to the Individual Tax Questions line, please wait for the menu to speak and then press the appropriate prompt number. Do not enter any personal information even when the system requests it. This will place you in a queue to speak with a live agent.
