~wheela's review of The IRS customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's The IRS customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~wheela: This is worse way to get someone to answer direct questions. Every time, you call, it gives run around by giving what number to call or where to go online. Very stupid. It just gives you run around and never actually get the person on the phone. When you finally do get the human on the phone after waiting past ** past min. they transfer back to beginning and start all over again. Never get the answers you been waiting. The worse service ever. It needs to improve very badly and seriously.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting The IRS. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a The IRS problem?
~wheela: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~wheela: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about The IRS's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~wheela: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other The IRS customers?
~wheela: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for The IRS to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~wheela taken from his The IRS customer service problem that occurred on November 19th, 2017.
