~Sandie: I am not happy with Toshiba's laptop. Got it in Jan. and in Aug it shuts down. Call for support and I have to send it in but they will send a box. The box was due on Friday (several days later) and UPS did not deliver it because they had no townhouse number or phone number. SOOO instead of getting it on Friday to then pack the laptop and spend Sat running around trying to find an UPS store that will sign off on it I now have to wait until MONDAY to get UPS to drop it off. So another four days before it is even shipped. It was explained I needed to get personal information off the computer before shipping as it does not go to Toshiba but to a "store" and how can I get my stuff off it when it shut down while I was using it and won't come on again. Worked with support and would not come on again. NOW I have to pack it Monday and then Tuesday take it to an UPS store try to find one that will actually sign off that I handed them a computer. I work, so it may be NEXT Saturday before I can sp

~Sandie: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Sandie: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Toshiba's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Sandie: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Toshiba customers?
~Sandie: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Toshiba to know who you are.
