GetHuman-182609: Purchased a toshiba satellite laptop and after * months the AC adapter went out. My warranty was still there so I was able to receive a replacement AC adapter but only after I placed a whole on my credit card for the amount of the AC adapter. This was to ensure that the old part was returned. After I received the new part I immediatey sent back the old one. I called several days later inquiring about the hold that was still on my credit card. I was told that it would take up to ** days for the hold to be taken off. This information was not relayed to me during the initial call nor does it state in the warranty agreement anything about taking up to ** days before a refund to be processed. My call was twice esclated up to a case manager who refused to correct the situation even after I pointed out that the warranty pamphlet did not have any literature about a refund taking up to thirty days. Please be aware that if you have to return a part or the laptop itself you will be charge
