~NewsMom: NOTE: it was perplexing to the man who answered that I had this phone number---it actually works, and he didn't expect a call from the public out of the blue to track a lost package.*Nice man took information, said he'd look into it. I actually believe him. Meanwhile, my other phone was on hold for ** minutes awaiting anyone to pick up the call, and during my call to the above phone number, the long-hold call was disconnected, without ever being answered. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get some help from this "secret" means of reaching the USPS Customer Service folks....
