~mommy2divas: No phone or internet since yesterday morning. After spending an hour on the phone yesterday with an idiot who insisted that, despite an ice storm in my area which had pwoer out in thousands of homes, my phone and internet outage was the result of the outlet in my house (which works) not generating enough power and that he would send someone out Saturday. Today the rep I got at least confirmed there was an outage in my area and then told me now that it was in the system, it would be fixed within hours. Then he said if it wasn't fixed by tomorrow, I still had a technician coming to check my equipment on Saturday. When I told him that he had confirmed a service outage in my area so clearly it wasn't my equipment, he then tried to say it could be the box outside my house. I again said that would not cause a service outage in my area and he said that if it was the box it was their fault and tehre would be no charge to me. Ugh!!
