~Emporia: I called to request prior notification in the event of a planned outage. We were down *-* hours and it would have been nice to plan- pull the car out, not start laundry, etc. Representative told me that Westar is not required to tell us in advance unless outage is * hours or more. She dismissed my concerns and said I can lift the garage door manually if i need to go somewhere. I was just asking for a simple courtesy. Irritated. At least pretend you are passing the statement on to management or something, don't just be dismissive.
