GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's AOL customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~LizzieSparrow: Did the thing with pressing several numbers and got someone in about * minutes---I thought that was great until I realized that the person I talked to was NOT the technician. Spent * minutes giving her description of my problem, after which she said she was transferring me to tech support. AFTER being transfered to tech support, got recording saying that my "wait would be LESS than THIRTY MINUTES". Needless to say, I hung up, as I had already spent TWENTY minutes before THIS call waiting, after which I got HUNG UP ON. I have already wasted over an hour on the phone alone with this* before that, I had attempted * times to get support through online chat but also wasted time, as I waited at least ** minutes each time with no support. TIRED of this garbage.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AOL. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AOL problem?
~LizzieSparrow: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~LizzieSparrow: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AOL's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~LizzieSparrow: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AOL customers?
~LizzieSparrow: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AOL to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~LizzieSparrow taken from his AOL customer service problem that occurred on November 7th, 2017.
