GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's AirBnB customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Upset: Very disappointed. Not able to get a phone number. After many hours going round and round on their support web site was able to get a chat window. They told me to call the bank and give the bank a number for a refund. The bank said this was not the proper way to get a refund. When I tried to get back into a chat window wasted some more hours but was not able to get into chat with them because the reservation period had just expired. No way at all to address a problem if you cannot do it within the original reservation period and are extremely patient. Their web site is designed NOT to allow direct contact. Clearly they hope you will give up and go away.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AirBnB. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AirBnB problem?
~Upset: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Upset: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AirBnB's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Upset: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AirBnB customers?
~Upset: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AirBnB to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Upset taken from his AirBnB customer service problem that occurred on November 26th, 2017.
