GetHuman-chrisna3's review of Amazon customer service
GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Amazon customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-chrisna3: I've been an Amazon customer for years, and have been a Prime member from the start of the Prime program. I was a very regular customer who sang Amazon's praises. And now, I am finding it impossible to find ANY customer service help regarding an issue. I ordered a game for my grandson for Xmas on ********. I recd a msg today that my Amazon card was declined. First customer svc rep said to call the card issuing bank (Chase). I did so, and they said "you have never had anything declined". Sent me back to Amazon customer service. After waiting on hold several times, asking to speak to supervisors (who did not call back), it ended up that my POINTS were not correctly reflected, so the order payment was declined. This was NOT my mistake, I do NOT calculate points. I had to cancel and reorder. THEN the item I wanted is out of stock. Not one representative, supervisor, (including the last one, T'Andre), was helpful or even concerned. I'll be rethinking my use of Amazon as my go-to for all kinds of retail items AND definitely rethinking renewing my Prime Membership. Amazon had the BEST customer service at one point. What's happened Amazon?
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Amazon. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Amazon problem?
GetHuman-chrisna3: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-chrisna3: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Amazon's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-chrisna3: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Amazon customers?
GetHuman-chrisna3: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Amazon to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from GetHuman-chrisna3 taken from his Amazon customer service problem that occurred on November 22nd, 2017.
