~Hollyrusin: Flight **** **MAR***P*Called prior to leaving for the airport and asked to pay for an upgrade, denied. Asked and tried to pay for an upgrade while checking in, denied. *Asked again to pay for an upgrade at the gate, denied. * Upon arrival and throughout the flight there were six empty first class seats. *Janet ***** refused to let us sit together anywhere on the aircraft, economy or first. Extremely rude flight attendant. I even offered to sit in economy in order to be near my boyfriend and she refused. I am a fellow flight attendant and this would never be accepted at my airline.*The other two flight attendants were extremely accommodating in the process but explained Janet would not allow anything. * My boyfriend was just traded from the Dallas Stars to the Detroit Red Wings and this was the last time we would be together for months. We're extremely disappointed in American and their customer service. We will absolutely be sure that no Dallas Star or Detroit Red Wings promote
